Studio One 3.3.2 Kontakt 5.7.3 problem opening plugin instance

    Hi everyone.

    I have a strange problem in Studio One 3.3.2 with Kontakt 5.7.3. When I load a Kontakt plugin instance, it loads no plugin...just a basic DAW plugin window with nothing in it. It's sort of difficult to describe...see the screenshot:

    Previously, I had Kontakt 5.6.5 installed
    [Native.Instruments.Kontakt.v5.6.5.Update.UNLOCKED.Incl.Keygen-R2R]

    and then I updated to K5.6.6.
    [Native.Instruments.Kontakt.v5.6.6.Update.No.Install]

    It all worked just fine.

    Then I wanted to upgrade to K5.7.3
    [Native.Instruments.Kontakt.v5.7.3.Incl.Emulator.WORKING-AUDiTOR]

    ...and I got this. The standalone K5.7.3 worked fine...it's just the VST plugin that has the problem.

    OS: Win7 Home premium x64
    Studio One and Kontakt are both 64bit

    I tried to install K5.7.3 on a clean computer and it worked fine.
    I also tried to fully uninstall K5.6.6 with all its Registry entries and all its files found on the system drive and then install K5.7.3...didn't work.

    Anyone got an idea, how to fix this?

    I have the same problem with kontakt 6 portable. While the standalone works fine, the GUI just won't show up in the DAW with the vsti addition (studio one 4 64bit, windows 7). What can it be? I tried almost everything.

  5. I can't reproduce the error on a legitimate S1/4 install.

    The commonest cause for plugins sizing wrong is that you have High DPI enabled in your set up options.

    cool to see people using the still-a-king Windows 7 x64. anyway , why do you need that kontakt version , can't you go back to the last working one ?

    i think you need to fully clean hdd from any rests and then reinstall auditor...or latest 5.8 portable

    use revo uninstaller or bulk crap uninstaller...use good regis cleaner after too

    Has anyone found a solution? I am having the same problem as OP, except it's with Studio One 5 / Kontakt 6.2.2. Changing DPI option did not solve the issue.

    EDIT: I found out a solution. Reinstall Kontakt (and the .dlls) in a folder that is not the default (while also making sure to run Studio One in between reinstalling, so it's a fresh scan).
