Hey there, Just wondering if any other Studio One 2 (2.0.5) users have experienced any issues with any of the content CD files at Installation ?

Though all content 'installed' successfully (showing date of install) -- at start up Studio One reports errors with both:

Electronic Audioloops.soundset
Studio One Electric Pianos and Organs.soundset

and fails to load them (stating that the Install failed), anyone else encounter this anomaly ?

 

I'm not a Studio One user. But have you tried to reset your permissions on those files?

Probably you have the corrupted contents version!

 

yes there where some "bad" releases floating around but if you dl the Air version dvd:s 15 gb or so you should be ok

 

Yeah, I have the AIR versions:
Only two files on this one giving me problems (all other bits installed without a hitch);

As I said, the content 'installed' successfully through the Studio One content install window (showing success dialog and date of install)
yet at start up Studio One reports errors little red skulls in the loading dialog window stating that the aforementioned soundsets failed to install
(even though Studio One initially reported successful installation, and the suspect files are physically present in the proper location.)

I did attempt permissions repair -- setting file privs / permissions) as suggested by Kookaboo -- unfortunately -- no dice
(Will keep messing with it -- maybe search for another version of the second disc --- anyway, thanks to all for your help(s) ^__^


I will likely end up purchasing SO2 and adding it to my collection DAW softs (Live & Logic)

 

Hi, I have the same version and I have a problem. In past I installed the sw on a pc win 7 32 bit and everything was fine. Now I'm trying to install it on a pc win 8 64 bit and actually during the installation it does not create a folder in c:/user/***/studio one, where I should place the demos and sound sets. also now I can't generate the license. any idea? (if I install the 32 bit version the same thing happens)

Same exact issue here, corrupted files is the answer.
I downloaded them again (I think they still are available in AUDIOZ), installed succesfully and now working.

 

Go over to KVR and have a look at the market place.
There are awesome deals to be made on S1.
A guy was selling his S1 Pro license for 120$ just a few days ago
