Studio One 2.6.5 Release Notes

Here we go again.

 

PreSonus has been very good to me. Stud One came with my AudioBox and gets updates whenever I want. I still use Audition most of the time, though. PreSonus also has some nice Louisiana style food recipes in their manuals, so you can cook up a groove or some jambalaya.

 

I found a very nice Basque chicken pie recipe to try this week, uses lots of smoked paprika to enhance the mix

 

Everybody should try the jambalaya recipe that Presonus hides in a couple of their Manuals. Very good!! They served it at the presonusphere last year.

 

1 - Unfortunately I had to roll back to 2.6.4 because it found a bug. Some third-party plug-ins instead of the GUI display a white rectangle.

2 - Still have not fixed the bug with some third-party GUI is not updates during tweaking.

It seems that a new bug with white rectangle and old with GUI update come from the same programming code and are related with OpenGL. On the official SO forum I seen a topic about it and Presonus staff said that they fixed the bug, but since then have passed quite a few updates, and personally for me problem is still present. It is observed on all three computers that I have, on the macpro on macbook and imac. Each new SO update does not solve the problem for me.

 

which plugins are causing this issue? I have not come across the bug

 

me too, everything works fine here for me (2.6.5). Have you tried to upgrade your videocard driver?

 

I could be like those Mac trolls----"Mac-OSX--There's your problem." But I won'........yes I will. Just kidding, but mine runs bug and glitch free on a PC with Windows 7. Is it A legit or cracked version? Sometimes the cracked versions have their own hiccups.

 

I use a legal copy of SO.

 

It is observed on all three computers that I have, on the MacPro on MacBook and iMac.
On Apple computers, you can not update the driver. All drivers updates are supplied with OS X updates.
I have the most recent updates OS X Maverics on all three computers.

 

This happens with these plug-ins:

Acon Didital Multiply
Acon Didital Verberate
SoundToys (all plugins)
Tal Togu Audio (all plugins)
Sonic Academy A.N.A
Plugin Boutique BigKick
Sonnox Oxford (all plugins)
Antares (all plugins)

These same plugins in other DAW work without any problems (Logic, Live, Reaper). This occurs only with Studio One.

 

On the OSX side i haven't none of these plugins, but i have Soundtoys,ANA,Sonnox wich works without problems in windows. Ask some experience mac user where are the file wich contains Studio One settings, back it up and try to delete it and do a fresh install

in windows is in C:\Users\*User Name*\AppData\Roaming\PreSonus

i don't use too much Studio One on OSX so i don't know where the folder is stored, ask for the equivalent folder.
