Studio monitors, max €3000 pair

    I went with the Hedd Type 20. It's a beast and destroys everything in the same price range. Trio6 were too boomy for me, while Hedd is clear over all frequenties and a good tight low. It really sounds super good.

    I have owned a pair of Genelec's 8040's for a number of years.. I saw tons of them at TV stations, that and the sound influenced me. I love them.. The good thing in the last 10 years or so, is there has been a lot of advancement in monitoring systems. Perhaps more important is your room. Room treatment does a lot. When you get to your price bracket, you shouldn't be disappointed with any of the systems you're looking at.
