The active Tannoy Reveals are actually very good as well and can be bought quite cheaply (especially on the used market). Their only weakness is that they sometimes don't reveal nasty treble frequencies, but they are tremendously good at everything else and very surgical. They showed my weaknesses in my mixes that I didn't hear with the Yamaha HS8s.

Not easy choose, all about 150-250 each. My room has 12 square meters.

    I am doubting between Adam T7V (175 € each), and PreSonus Eris E8 XT (165 € each)

    Tannoy reveals 215 €, and Fluid Audio FX50 (not F5) 155 € each,

What do you look for in monitor, does hiss from monitors bothers you?

215 euros for one Tannoy monitor is definitely too expensive. I was referring to the 502a Reveals, which I got for 100 euros (for both monitors as a pack price) on the used market. The size of the 502a should absolutely be enough for a 12m² room. I wouldn't pay more than 260 euros for them as a pack price.

This Tannoys are about 130 € but no stock in weeks ahead.

I am looking to a flat monitor, for apropiate mixing, but also good sound. And of course no hiss.

They are loud enough for nearfield monitors.

Find another 1000 dollars and buy a descent pair of monitors . Forget mastering with 300 dollars monitors . Monitors are the medium between sound waves and your ears . Dont play with them ...

instead Presonus Eris E5 XT !!!

    - >
PreSonus Eris E66, Dual 6,5" Aktiver MTM Studiomonitor 227 euros, in my place

way better is Dynaudio Bm5a MK2 , but with 470 Euros not in your Range.

maybe you find a way to do something somewhere for the 170 bucks extra.

i garantee you will never regret it !!!

i have rokit 5 also. i found them good for techno. the kick is very tide at 80/100 hz on them. but the stereofield in the mid-highs and highs is mediocre, but ok for thew money.

orchestral - cinematic metal ... " Dynaudio BM5 or PreSonus Eris E66, Dual 6,5" Aktiver MTM Studiomonitor "

or HEDD MK2 with Linearizer... very good !

i wouldn't buy monitors for 300,00 euro, because in this price range no reasonable monitors are offered with which you can work seriously in the long term. it makes much more sense to buy professional headphones for this price. in the long run you will get more out of it if you want to produce music seriously.

Thats just bullshit, gear doesnt make "records"
nothing wrong with recommending good headphones
but by your logic 300 bucks wont get you "professional" HP either

KALI LP-6 or 8. very good balance, between price and quality. i have LP-6 1 for 1 years i guess, and really improves my way of mix/analyze/hears things.
