Wooowww AA with no 3d render! there you go: http://www.acustica-audio.com/pages/acqua-manuals
and manuals that explain what software is capable of, but well its only for 2 or 3 users so doesn't worth it maybe.

Edit: not getting paid by nobody, just use my ears and +15years on this shinny biz, also please post what algos you think are better want to try them.

Go find an amateur site for bedroom producers if you have no respect for high end audio. A lot of us make a living in the business and have no need for your bitching and moaning about, what seems to be, jealousy that you'll never be able to afford quality gear. You haven't backed up your inadequately informed opinions with any kind of data, so keep your little ideas in your head until you can speak with authority.

If you don't want to show me what you're selling and tell me to download the manual and read it, you're doing sales wrong, sorry.

They are still in the growing stages so the marketing team might be wearing multiple hats. There are some grammer mishaps in some ads also, but if you buy into a concept because of the wording in an ad then i understand your perspective more. I try to stick to whatever results I see in my work so testing is important before divisions.

I hope I don't seem like I'm trying to convince anyone of anything on my part. Definitely work with the tools that best suits your needs!

There are plenty of online reviews that backup the claim that AA is reproducing analogue hardware in ways that supersede all previous modelling. If you care to read about it.....

    https://www.soundonsound.com/reviews/acustica-audio-pink2-ruby

Or if you can't be bothered reading, I'll quote the opening...

Acustica’s product range must be the largest collection of mouth-watering vintage and modern gear available for any software platform. And it’s crucial to note that these are not emulations or models, such as you’ll find in other manufacturers’ catalogues; Acustica products are lovingly and exactingly ‘sampled’ from original hardware using the company’s proprietary Volterra Series non-linear convolution technology. This is an advanced form of dynamic convolution which allows very accurate modelling of the time-dependent behaviour of non-linear analogue circuit components like inductors and capacitors.

You know, I might actually give these a shot once I finally get to upgrade my setup, mobile Haswell just won't cut it. Apart from the thought of brute-forcing emulation by recording tons of samples being a bit... well, excessive and kind of silly, I think they deserve a try. Though I don't expect to get on well with them, I really prefer to use plugins everyone has like Waves and whatnot, helps a lot when working in different facilities.

I won't object, when I said the descriptions sound silly, I meant just that - they are just not that good at all at showing their stuff, whether it's good or not. I don't have anything to say about the actual plugins since my setup won't handle trying them, so I don't talk about the sound - just explaining why people around the forum are skeptical and kind of tired with all the hype.

It's not like they don't offer trial periods, so you can't blame them if your system can't handle it and when you say they aren't good at showing whether their stuff is good or not, that's why independent reviews are all over the internet. Gearslutz has hundreds of pages of reviews and is probably the biggest user database of info on every facet of pro audio.

Yes, that's why I said I might try it when I finally get to upgrading my setup.
This is very true. Reviews are great. The problem I see is when you first hear someone mention Acustica you head straight to their website. And you see some not-so-great information coupled with a bit of a bad taste. This doesn't encourage you to search further and try it, you know? I have found the name Acustica mentioned here multiple times, and after several months I'd forget about it, then see it mentioned again - and go back to that website and be like "meh, not worth my time". Maybe it's just me, but when looking up stuff I tend to head straight to the source and if it picks my interest, I explore further. I mean... at the very least, they could've added audio demos.

Acustica Audio Ceil is given to you (free) until February 14, 2019 (and then from there it will cost €99).
So do what you want and judge by yourself. I would suggest to grab it while you can.

    oh my...
The one who talks loud not even give it a spin yet.

Presumptuous, conceited, and pretentious are much worse than pretty GUI.
And people who believe them, they are just plain gullible.

The bad taste welcome page won't last much longer. It's a Christmas special promo page. Hit the Acqua menu. No bad taste there. And audio demos? Why when they give you a fully functional trial to demo it on your own material. To me that's much better than those "vocals dry" vs "vocals compressed" That, to me is a poor way to show what your product can do.

Lol, it's funny.. I don't try to convince on quality of AA anymore. If anyone can't hear a difference so be it. Acustica for me is the total biz, I'm completely sold.

Far from being a hater, some of their plugins are very good, but thats about it. When you weigh the pros and cons they are mostly production flow killers.
Saying their tech can not be rivaled is also not true. A plugin like the psp e27 is sound wise as good as any other AA eq, if not better, with the benefit of being lighter on the cpu, no latency, etc.
I guess people also havent heard of TMT and v-gain tech from brainworx on their new console n and ssl 4000 e/g plugins, super light on the cpu, amazing tools, sound wise as well.
