    1. Presonus Eris E3.5 or the BT Version
    Pair price 98,00 / 126,00 Euro !!

these studio monitors are also great, I have had the opportunity to test them just under 2 weeks under real operations ... price / performance ratio is really really good ... you can achieve very good results ... I am very positively surprised .... clear recommendation on my part

Unless you are planning on having a treated room, go for headphones and learn how to use them for mixing and mastering

Maybe one of the best I have ever seen in Terms of universal use (It works with nearly every VST without mapping it)

Behringer UMC204HD, and that's no joke!

Priced at 89,- Euros, it's an incredible bang for the buck. It's got 2 quite decent mic/inst/line preamps, 4 outputs, midi in and out and the latest drivers even support asio multi client. Of course it's no RME and lacks a hardware mixer like Totalmix, but for the price it's great. RTL is not as fast as RME but it's usable.

Another cool thing are the insert jacks, so you can use just the mic pres (no converters) and connect them to another interfaces line inputs. I use this to get 4 mics connected to my RME Babyface Pro using the RME converters only. You can power the UMC with a standard USB power bank and get 2 decent mic pres with 48V phantom power on the road.

Only downside is the headphone output, as it's limited to 5V USB power and clips at about +3dBu. Thats not enough for my DT880s.

Make your own cables. It will save you tons of money. ;) I use high quality Klotz cables MC2000 [thick shielding] but just good quality [~2 euro] XLRs and Jacks. All of my cables, and I use a lot, cost me around 100 euro, whilst if you buy them pre-assembled they will cost you about 3x that.

Knowing how to solder cables is a very valuable skill!

For MIDI cables, you can use standard telephone line cable that cost practically nothing. :) MIDI has 3 wires: In, Out, and grounding. just make them as short as possible.

a phenomenon that I observe again and again, especially with young musicians is that they use damn expensive equipment and then save massively on the cable / plug and use only cheap parts ... A Fatal Error ... there are qualitatively very good cable at a really reasonable price ... I use in my studio Sommer cables and am very satisfied .... I recommend you Sommer Cable The Spirit series ... you can buy them by the meter ...

guys, I also know that you can pay per meter 200,00 euro ...but that's not what this is about ...so, save your corresponding post ...
