So i have a copy of FL studio, omnisphere etc. If i wanted to start streaming making beats. Am i safe to do so? Will i get hit with any letters?

Any advice before I start posting youtube videos with the software and plugins? (eg "How to make a trap beat")

If you bought your software, you're fine showing it on the screen with no worries. If you have pirated software, it wouldn't be wise to advertise or show it on Youtube. Playing the music itself is fine, but I wouldn't show the plugs.

Companies don't usually go through the trouble of pursuing you unless you have a large following, but they can. Be cautious.

Yeah that may be an issue then haha. Might better be better off just soundclouding and using generic cover art

You'll be fine unless your following is really popping. Curtis King & Internet Money got hit with some claims before. The only weird issue was that with Internet Money, the one who got struck already had an actual licensed copy but they just never installed it/kept the crack.

But yeah, its really no issue, especially if you've taken the time to turn off all Firewall connections for your Plugins that can Phone Home to the company. I had an issue with this before with an FL Studio install that was Phoning Home b/c I didn't set it up properly, ironically when I decided to stream on my FB my plugins started breaking near the end, showing I didn't pay for certain things.

So I guess, be cautious but don't be afraid either.
