Hey, I really like the drums on this song strawberry letter 23 by the brothers Johnson, does anyone have any drum samples that sound like Quincy jones tracks from this time period. The music box sound also sounds cool, is there a preset for that in fl studio ?.

 

Any decent dry (drum booth) type kit will do. Roll back the low end and start adding analog strip/channel FX along with a good tape emulator. Tweak to taste from hear with EQ and Compression.

 

I wanna hear you do the guitar part in the middle first.... both parts...haha
