Hi again!

I need some some fresh eyes and brains with ideas ;D

Basically, when I try to touch the slider on the system volume (drag up or down) or master vol slider in the esi julia panel, any sound currently playing stops instantly ( the green meter stays frozen at the same level of the moment when I touch of the slider, if that makes any sense ). It worked for years just alright.
Few months ago I did install some 'critical' windows7 updates ( i think it was about digital signatures / SHA2 ), so that might be a clue.

I did reinstall the win7 julia drivers for any version that is available. On 1.3 version it works as described above. On any previous versions, driver installs, sound is there, but the julia panel does not open (when i mouse hover, icon dissapears, when i try to open exe file with julaPAN its killed instantly. So i do not have acceess to panel on any version below 1.3 of the driver. Support remain silent for my message.

Any advices would be highly appreciated!

 

I made a back up to 1.21 from 1.3 (changes didn't solve too much problem for me, but introduced more weirdness).
Don't know if new 1.4 or 1.51 work, support is not available for Win 7, but didn't test if new ones really work or no.. Because my main ones are Audient iD14 mkII and second extra is M-Audio C400 fast track. Juli@ is the third extra, not main any more.

I've got win10 as well and 1.51 work just fine! So i know its something in the win7 environment, also nothing wrong with the driver itself (it used to work well!). So its my config 100% but can't find the issue and quite don't know where to look - Event viewer does not show anything related to the sounds, maybe some logs I should check but neither I do not know which ones register such events with sounds..

I'll try to re-instal to 1.21 and check if there are any logs for when the process is killed and why.

 

Did you try 1.51 on win7?
Sometimes (very often) software developer says Win10 or higher is minimum, but in real life it supports Win 7 and 8 - 8.1

 

I did download and made attempt to install, but there is error on the beginning and you cannot install it.
