Probably most of you guys here are young kids trying out cr*cked software. But this is not the right way to do things guys. I just noticed someone here was requesting a cr*cked version of my plugin SynthMaster:

    http://audioz.info/requests/32923-download_reqsynthmaster-25.html

Look everyone, we've spent more than 8000 man hours to develop this plugin, so stop stealing software. Just buy the software you use!

If you say you can not afford it, buy the academic version at half price:

Well I am a software developer, but ordinary software, for Business management like supermarkets,

well, if a business owner uses my software, i would really get pissed off , but how about someone who made a copy and have it in his house?

he are not making money anyway, i have a lot of cracked vst plugins for testing purposes and learning about music creation that fascinates me!, but

if someday i make money with music im a not a son of a bitch, of course I will pay proudly for the software for sure.

Cmon Bulent, your "first experience in writing music related software was programming (your) cousin's C64 to synthesize sounds with its SID chip"... and you still believe that posting on a w@rez related forum will change the game's rules ?
Even if nobody cr*ck your product, this will not change anything to your incomes because those who pay for it are only those who REALLY need it for their professional productions. Kids who just want to play with cr*cked plugins aren't a part of any business plan, but they can be a great support for a marketing one...

This is an easy Equation Solver

    synthmaster@ $99 *no*

We would rather pay $9.99 Filesonic for 30 days

Seems more bang for my buck

And I`m not a kid either...

    Cheers :bleh:

Chances are he joins the various Forums and torrents site to troll and see if his stuff has been cracked or not.I'm pretty he's looking for reasons why his sales are not what he expected. Well Mr.synthmaster have you ever considered that maybe your product is crap and not worth the time to crack. If anything.. , your post will tempt the groups to crack it just to shut you up. :dancing: Oh am I only one thank thinks it's odd he joined the same day as the request was posted???

Unless he's dumb he realizes it hasn't been cracked. Perhaps its a way of advertizing OR collecting IP addresses that use that link.

i think it s helpful to try a demo version of a software before buying it,it saved me lots of money trying stuff before a purchase(i swear, most things u see advertised in magazines r real crap)
I understand your point, and i agree with u somehow, everyone who makes effort in what they do should be rewarded, but i d limit this thing to wether the final user of your software will have an income using it or not.
MAny times in several articles we read about software houses complaining about piracy, yet they don t consider at least 2 important things:
    1) people or music studios that get an income by the use of their software pay for it(no studio risks to close or pay a fine for the possession of cracked material),and these are the main branch of the market their software is aimed too.
I mean, among all the people who use cubase (just as an example) in their homes, how many do u think have an income from what they do with it?very few,and steinberg should be rather aware of it,since u don t develope a professional software expecting it will conquer the market of average users, otherwise u (steinberg, always as an example) wouldn t make it so expensive and there would be many many more software houses than ones we have today developing similar software, which would force steinberg to lower their prices(more than what they did because of the piracy and the competition with the few software houses that aim at the same users).T his leads me to point 2:
a customer who uses cracked software is a customer who never existed and probably never will, since as time goes by the features that were a trademark of a certain company will be more and more common and before giving up and buy the original software, this unexisting customer will look at their wallet and if they can t find a cracked version of it,they will rely on freeware stuff.
THus software houses complaining about the loss o customer due to piracy must consider they re complaining about the loss of customers they never had and never will.
Be it clear,i don t encoutage piracy in any way,i just say it s not piracy that causes the crisis in the software market

"Synthmaster" (lol) is just using this as a means to advertise his crappy synth. He's probably the one who requested it in the first place.

Oh, c'mon everybody. If you're using something that you haven't purchased just keep it to yourself.

Any cracked software is a pride of those who cracked it, not of those who use it.

Let's assume that everybody here is following H2O motto: "Try before you buy".

    You nail it !

First part is exact, second is false. Many people would never have started to make music without the availability of cr@cked audio software, and I personally know 3 of them who are today "top" artists and pay for all the software they use in their studio. So as I've said in my previous post : cr@cked audio software is a part of the marketing plan (of clever developers...).

Exact, it's the lack of talent (same apply to music industry).
