Hi,
I'd like Pro Tools to not blow up my sound card every time I select a group of midi notes in its famously shit Piano Roll. I see that you can achieve this by unselecting the XLR/ Speaker icon, which is annotated "play midi notes when editing". The issue is that this is overkill. Notes added to the piano roll no longer make a sound when clicked or dragged.

Is there a way to achieve my goal without creating another problem?
