Steinberg.. some exiting news..

    Thought it was going be to be like VST 4.0 or something lol.

    No, it's a plug-in for these SDKs. I don't think we need another DAW. Steinberg even says it's for Cubase/Nuendo. But since VR doesn't work this way, you need some kind of a middleware (or an SDK) in between. The demo (obviously from Mediendom) showcases binaural audio, but not audio in/for VR/AR. Google has the latter. But they also give you a VST to monitor the spatial ("Ambisonic") sources as a binaural reference.

    Don't be discouraged friend. First of all "exciting" is relative. What you find exciting, another might find boring. So having said that, thank you for sharing your excitement with us, even if there are people who don't/can't/won't appreciate it.
    Remember the internet is a great thing for humanity, it's only that humanity it self isn't all that "great". Imho "meh".

    Keep sharing your news and excitement, because most of the time you only "hear" (in this case read) people who disagree with you.
    Those who agree with you or can appreciate your post tend not to reply, don't know why maybe because just saying "thanks" is "not enough?" if you can follow my train of thought.
