    Now it makes abit more sense to use it. Is HaLion really that bad? I mean i am used to Kontakt5.

    Halion 6's ui is awful. But you can use halion sonic to play a library and tweak knobs, you just cant mess with samples, which you can only do in halion 6, but at what cost :crazy:

    How to get your free LoFi Piano (MySteinberg ID required)
    - Request your Download Access Code
    - Install and open the Steinberg Download Assistant
    - Login with your Steinberg ID
    - Click on the category VST Instruments & Plug-ins
    - Click on LoFi Piano
    - Download and install the free HALion Sonic SE 3
    - Download and register the LoFi Piano VST Sound
    - Look in your DAW for HALion Sonic SE and open LoFi Piano

    is there a way to get around this ? I just want to use as any VST (or with an other sampler than HALion) in my DAW (Ableton Live in my case).

    Can you use any Kontakt library without Kontakt? :)

    basicly you can install any VR crack, and download Halion SE & Instruments u want

    I could use the wav files contained in the Kontakt sound banks with Simpler or Sampler in Ableton :winker:

    Ableton Live dropped long time ago support for SF2, NKI, so no you cant.

    And for this case Steinberg locks Samples down inside their containers, which you cant unpack to wav + mapping, etc.
    If someone doesnt want to use HaLion or the SE variant there is no way to use this library.
