I'm new to this so I have a few questions

I successfully relocated the content folder in the past but I don't remember how. Is there a file that you can edit that contains the location in it that Dorico reads when it loads?

I actually never got around to using it previously but I see Halion Sonic SE or Halion 6 is recommended to use with this. How? Why? I just loaded a template and it did play the music without Halion installed using the directory location I don't want.

I want to get the most out of this while trying it out. Are there specific installs including libraries that are nice to have with it?

    Thanks

I tried that. Dorico is not showing in the library manager for some reason. I see a lot in the Library Manager that doesn't make sense. I'll post images later but I'm guessing it just handles sound libraries. I'm seeing libraries for products that aren't installed and not seeing libraries for products that are installed like Dorico.

Move the sound content where you want it and leave the default content directory structure in place with only a shortcut to the new sound content location inside.

Whether this helps you I do not know!

    Errors when moving sound libraries

That’s an OS level problem. Maybe the file’s corrupt, incomplete, or there’s a disk error of some kind (less likely)
Aside from that one file, have you been able to register all the content by double-clicking them so they open in the SLM?

You can also set your default location for newly installed instruments also.
