Status of Music Production Software industry?

    Is it true that more people are buying DAWs, plugins, and other softwares? Can anyone tell me what could be the future?
    Will the industry rise or we can see some fall in the near future?

    im on the verge of buying the reason 12 upgrade but i cant right now i am waiting to see if i can uprade tomorrow or teams release the players on sister site

    If societies continue to impoverish, they won't be able to afford as many luxuries, then there will be a decline or more
    illegal software will be used. As the world economy has been declining for years, consumption is also declining.
    Commodity prices go up, energy prices go up, food and rents go up.

    Prerequisites for making music are electricity and money. Some customers of tomorrow are not even born yet.
