    This is just repeating (but confirming it works) suggestions that have already been made above.

    Items Used:

    Virtual Audio Cable (VAC); https://vac.muzychenko.net/en/ (see sister site)
    VAC enables flexible connecting of audio devices.

    SaviHost https://www.hermannseib.com/english/savihost.htm
    SaviHost hosts whatever VST .dll plugin you want (e.g., your favourite deesser, or EQ, etc)
    Savihost plus your plugin then behaves as a stand-alone audio FX

    Routing
    • A playback device on your system ==> Virtual Audio Cable
    • Virtual Audio Cable ==> SaviHost
    • SaviHost output (treated audio) ==> wherever you want, e.g. an ASIO driver
