Stam Audio Engineering has introduced the SA-2A, a faithful reproduction of the classic Teletronix LA-2A compressor.

It has a fully discrete signal path and uses Drip’s Electronics T4B Opto-cell, Cinemag transformers and NOS 12AX7, 12BH7
and 6AQ5 tubes. The LA-2A is the most regarded and sought after compressor in the world that has been used on thousands
of hit songs.

We have gone to great length to faithfully reproduce the natural compression and vintage characteristics by developing
custom transformers to match the frequency response found on the original UTC transformers and using an identical Opto-cell
from Drip Electronics to match the fixed attack and release response found in the original LA-2A. And, for the first time
ever: It’s affordable!

100 warranty? Must have been a typo. The page states 1 year warranty. Oh well...

 

Nice they are having to Lower the Prices on this out bored stuff some of the out bored Gear is redials on there Price i Have been wanting to star / open a Mastering Studio put just to star with the rite gear it like 50 thousand for the EQ's Compressors A to D Converters the rite speakers and so on

 

It's 1 year factory, but you can purchase a 99 year non-transferable extended warranty policy.

Nevertheless, I'm just curious to know how a 'Company' (even the best one !) can pretend to still be alive in 100 years !!!

But as stated in the 'Technical Specifications' :

* Final assembly by hand in Chile

So, if this 'Final Assembly' is done, say, in the 'Ojos del Salado' (The Highest active Volcano in the World ~ 22,615 ft !!!), maybe the effect of altitude can add more longevity to that gear !!!
