    Why it has to be in one place ( in the same session ) ?
    Just to spend money on big Hardware ?

    What if I told you there are ways to do it with 8 Gb of Ram :rofl:

    (I think you would say madness, this is a mad man , blaspheme )

    Ever heard of bouncing to a new track
    So if your RAM becomes to full, bounce everything you got ( the best way in Categories )
    And in the end, mix all tracks to a great orchestral song
    (I know it's not comfortable and it's slow )
    But it's possible.

    This is Bouncing :winker:

    And there were times big studios got only 8 tracks.

    Now think about Star Wars OST from John Williams it was done with no big PC tech at all
    ... so he doesn't need 64 GB of RAM in one Session (it's just a joke don't get me, wrong complete other environment but still an Orchestral piece in one session without 64 GB RAM :bleh: )

    (But who got a complete orchestra in his Backyard )

    And Beside that i9 are garbage in therms of raw CPU- Power
    (Biggest there is Intel Core i9-9980XE @ 3.00GHz) 29576 $2,524.64 USD 20.NOV
    (And now they halve the price to 1049)

    Upcomming AMD Ryzen Threadripper 3970X 47956 no price at the moment
    or AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 31911 $579.99 USD

    Intel was good for the last 5 Years maybe longer
    but today they cost 4 time:woot:(or 2 time with the new price) the price for less CPU power

    yea QLC is garbage, no need to talk about it further I guess,
    TLC (to my knowledge is same as MLC basically, just another marketing term) is okay for most users, unless it's a heavy database, lifespan is probably not a problem either (comparably most HDDs die within 4 years of daily use anyway),
    reliability, resp. sudden death of SSDs imo remains only valid concern, but advantages of all other feats balance this issue I'd say

    actually now at the end of 2019, 2TB WD Black HDD costs same as 1TB NVME ADATA XPG SX8200 PRO (I pick those two, as they both have 5-year warranty) so HDDs cost roughly 1/2 of SSD which is far less favorable ratio, and let's not forget that NVME SSD offers about 10-15x higher speeds and uncomparably higher seek/search and operations per second spec

    Not really
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Multi-level_cell
    SLC =1 Bit per Cell
    MLC=2 Bit per Cell
    TLC=3 Bit per Cell
    Yikes QLC = 4 Cells :deep_facepalm:
    Kill it before it leg Eggs PLC = 5 Bit per Cell :rofl:(hope this development dies befor it comes to live)

    I would compare this 3
    (Cheapest in their Categories)
    https://geizhals.de/toshiba-p300-high-performance-4tb-hdwd240uzsva-a2189648.html?hloc=at&hloc=de (21,165/TB) HDD internal
    https://geizhals.de/seagate-desktop-drive-8tb-stgy8000400-a1936567.html?hloc=at&hloc=de (15,249/TB) HDD external
    https://geizhals.de/intenso-high-performance-ssd-960gb-3813460-a1420372.html?hloc=at&hloc=de (83,323/TB) SSD Sata internal

    5 Years Variant
    and this 3
    https://geizhals.de/seagate-enterpr...tb-st6000nm0034-a1089750.html?hloc=at&hloc=de (25,832/TB) HDD internal
    https://geizhals.de/crucial-mx500-1tb-ct1000mx500ssd1-a1745357.html?hloc=at&hloc=de (95,900/TB) SSD Sata
    https://geizhals.de/crucial-p1-ssd-1tb-ct1000p1ssd8-a1907687.html?hloc=at&hloc=de (107,040/TB) SSD m.2

    2 TB HDDs are highly overpriced, best valued is at 4 -10 TB
    While SSD are best at 1-4 TB
