Hey guys i was wondering if anyone knows of a library consisting of these sounds? Would be an additional benefit if there were some parameters to mod as well:

  4. Sorry, I don't know, but if you have a friend with a reverb tank in their amp you might record whatever you like and the manipulate the result in a vst instrument or with plugins.

    Hey man,
check this out. It's not exactly what you're looking for, but might be an alternative.

Also, there are some nice spring reverb plugins. I like these:
http://www.softube.com/index.php?id=sr (rather basic, but gets the job done)
http://aegeanmusic.com/spirit-reverb (really digging this one right now! Lots of applications, dirt cheap and the Cosmic Mode is really out there)
If you can live with the Nebula-struggle, then this could work.

In all honesty though, if you really like making things go "boing", then get the real deal.
A: http://www.knasmusic.com/products/moisturizer/moisturizer.php (A friend of mine has this and it's reaaaaally dope. The springs are exposed, the filter goes from normal to batshit-crazy and the pre can be driven quite hard)

B: http://www.vermona.com/en/products/effects/product/retroverb-lancet/ (I have this one, mainly got it as a OD/filter with the added bonus of it being a reverb unit as well. Very versatile, can't stress enough how much I love it.)

Now, if cash is an issue or you're into DIY (or both), you could also build your own spring reverb: http://www.instructables.com/id/DIY-Spring-Reverb/

    Hope this helps,
    L

Most VST reverbs have a spring model in there somewhere. Drum plate settings are still just a plate model. Lots of spring reverb models for guitar, which probably also would work. Not as much fun as turning a real one up and smacking it hard, though.

Cheers for the responses peeps, i think what ill try to do it something similiar to convolution reverb does with a click inpulse and phase cancellation on one of the plate reverbs you guys have suggested (hopefully its repeating), then i can do it ITB which would offer me more flexibility, granted it isnt the fastest or 100% true to the original but ill try it. Or i could get a sample pack but i dont know about the quality/tail on the sounds. I think ill give both approaches a try!
