So I finally got Polaris today on sale for $267 & I'm very satisfied with it
Let me start by saying that the official walkthrough of this library does not do justice to this sample synth.
The strings on this library are amazing both the short & long articulations & could easily be worth even the full price.
Then there is all this hardware synths,sound amazing
Then you switch to the synth page & you're in heaven.This is not just a pad synth, it can do anything from basses to synth pulses to lead sounds.All the pad/atmospheric/cinematic string synth sounds are very beautiful & well crafted and can easily feet in your mix.(If you're a fan of Omnisphere & Absynth this could easily replace it)
Then you dive into your own sound design,this is so much fun & you have endless posibilites
I've been playing Polaris for the last 5 hours or so,make sure if you get the library to really dive in,presets come with lots of effects turned on as default,then you start making/saving your own sounds.....it sounds fat,analog & very cinematic
