Interesting to see when SF leave the Kontakt format for good :dunno:

... but absolutely understandable from Spitfire's perspective considering that NI has not really done anything about protecting their customers' intellectual property for years. Contact is almost a warez platform. Just too easy to crack and than you can use any Lib. :dunno:

Their Dedicated Plugin offers a lot of possibilities then Kontakt don't have and opens more faster.

Dang, is that legit? The questionnaire. Can it be? It seems to be. Am I going to have flipping ransom-ware in two weeks? Is it going to look at all my stuff and rat me out? Am I an idiot and fell for a scam? Guess in 2 weeks I'll know. I mean, it is just a little starting $50 library but that's still pretty cool of them.

The only thing I agree with is the fact that the dedicated plugin opens faster than Kontakt.
Infact I have already a few payed LABs and I think they´re pretty limited when it comes to "a lot of possibilities".

Yeah.... just replied all the nearly 40 (stupid) questions and will wait for my free 200 mb orchestra

Well worth it because my next project can loudly proclaim "FEATURING THE BBC SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA" on it as I then proceed to use LASS and SWAM like I always do for 99% of it.

I love what Spitfire Audio do all these years  & i'm grateful for all their libraries.
(You guys need to remember that this was a private company sharing their samples only between a few composers in the beginning,
    /LA/New York/Berlin & London).
I'm grateful for what Christian Henson & Paul Thomson have done for all musicians & the composer community all this time
so get excited & have a great day !  :

This guy really irritates me a lot  ....... SF is a well calculated multi billion business but as long as they develop useful libraries I´ll support them
I find their exaggerated british attitude pretty funny and a complete redundant gesture........... but what the hell
