Quite ironic since Hans Zimmer uses in his studio a quite ordinary piano (not the lowest quality but sure not some top of the line product) according to piano connaisseurs :)

I must say Spitfire Audio has gone downhill since last year - these rushed releases suggest more money is being made, but quality is behind. Take BML Reeds and Low Reeds for instance - just 2-4 articulations, while flues had about fifteen and Sable over twenty.
Christian seems to me also quite egoistic and close-minded, his first sentence in his reply to my suggestion was "Dear Andrew, you are speaking to someone with 10 years of experience in the field and this is not possible."
Sometimes they don't bother with reply at all.

When I'm famous and well respected, I do not wish this to happen to me.

Alas, looking at the title "SPITFIRE MAKE A VERY VERY BIG ANNOUNCEMENT" and seeing the same 1-second clip of black/white London repeated 4 times in a row in their video, it just screams to me - "don't bother".

Yeah, I think the same, they have been churning out a lot of unimpressive stuff lately. Their big stuff was gold, but they start to feel a bit like 8Dio or something.

And what's a Piano teaser without the actual piano even playing in it? LOL. And how many piano libraries do we really need?

The "Teaser" is a total joke

We need hundreds of piano libraries... they are great for practising a piece.
You pick a library and start comparing it to the others by playing a new piece.
After a few hours of comparing it, going back and forth and trying which feels softer, harsher, mellower, which have a nicer low end, which have a high end that suits better to the piece, which is more balanced... You realize that You have played the piece hundreds of times and most of the attention was addressed at the sound and feel rather then to the mechanics of playing.

I find that having many pianos, and comparing them while learning a new song , is a great aid in maintaining a focus on the nuances of a piece.
...of course, we all have different brains, so this doesn`t have to apply to everyone, but to me, learning a piece this way makes the whole process faster, much more interesting, a lot easier and enjoyable

I have a Ghrotrian Steiweg (german Steinway) and many pianos are bullshit.
I download, compare and erase because many have no flexibility, unnatural resonance, poor articulations and very close to others... So, a lot of repettion.
Until now I do not found a good resonation, especially the one that interacts with other instruments ( a plugin for this must be amazing).
Other thing is that most keyboard players never studied 10 hours a day/seven days per week. So, enche day piano is just another preset, not an instrument tha must have sirvente skills to play right. Its the same with keyboadists that try to imitate poorly a guitar...
Also the pianos in the most tracks can be done with a korg m1 plugin... Poor music use por instruments but also sofisticated orquestrations need driven instruments, that must have a distinction, focus and character...
    Download less, delete more :bleh:

Teaser of what? of view from helicopter? of a city (American one?)? of bridges? of a black'n'white camera tape? of a new film he written a music to? hear no piano there...only video...
it's like a teaser video of The Prodigy "Can You Hear Me?" to the new album "The Day Is My Enemy", but album is not so thrilling, frightful and psychedelic as that teaser video...
it's only video makes you believe "it's cool, thrilling", but...video is not the sampled piano....maybe piano sampled by Petya Pupkin, but video made by Steven Spielberg.
