Hi guys,

i am running OSx El Captain 10.11.3. I have installed Omnisphere 2 successfully. It is working exceptionally well as well as the Moog Tribute library. But when trying installing Trilian it always saying
" Installation failed....no software found to install". I've read that this is a Problem with El Captain. I tried every possibility when it comes to the already installed STEAM folder (on internal drive , external drive, etc.). Also watched the video on how to install Trillion properly so i assume it is not m fault

FYI, this is the Version i tried to install : Spectrasonics.Trilian.VSTi.AU.RTAS.PC.MAC.DVDR.D1-AiRISO

Does anybody have a suggestion?

The 1st disk was bad. You might have to redownload it (the info is on Audioz) But as far as I was informed Trilian is all included in Omnisphere 2 which is why they didn't do any update to Trilian. You should only need to install Omni 2. I am about to do this myself so please PM me with any updates or if it works

First of all thanks for the answer. I have already downloaded a totaly different Release from another Website and hat the same problem. Perhaps anybody could share his or her working 1st disk so i could Try it a thrid time.

And i have installed omnispehre 2 but der was no trilian. When you install the omnispehre 2 trilian library uodater u will See trilian in omnispehre but i wont work because there is no trilian library in place. Does anybody Else experienced this Problem?

I had this problem with El Capitan and fixed it. Granted I already had Trilian working on another mac running OSX 10.8.5

Here's what I did,

I used Pacifist to install the first DVD of Trilian

Then I copied the "Trilian" folder from my old computer. There are two and I copied them to the same location I took them from. Both are inside STEAM folders.

1. Mac HD/Library/Application Support/Spectrasonics/STEAM/
and
2. Mac HD/User/(My Account)/Library/Application Support/Spectrasonics/STEAM/

Note: You have to "show all files" in order to see the second Library folder.

Go to your terminal and type in:

"defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles YES"

then relaunch your finder by option+right clicking the finder icon and clicking relaunch. You should be able to see the hidden folder.

To hide the hidden files again type the same command with a "NO" instead of "YES"

This worked for me in Live running the vst.

 

Audjob can you give more information, about how did u do that? i have the same problem and its going to blow my head hahaha, i already have all the discs. so you just unpacked the first disc then u put the archives in its correct folders? what can i do if i don't have the trilian folder? only the disc and updates?

Nah never make this one. Open the first DVD with Daemon Tools. http://daemon-tools-mac.fr.softonic.com/mac/telecharger

Use the "Step 1" software installer to install the software
Use the "Step 2" data updater to install the data from the DVDs
Optionally use "Step 3" and "Step 4" installers if you want to use the
Trillian or the Moog libraries.

Crack installation PC:
----------------------
Use the R2R Keygen. First path the dll on your folder. x32 and x64
Open Trillian in your daw. Use the keygen for registered Trillian

Crack installation MAC:

5. Copy the supplied folder from /MAC over the respective destination
directory, replacing the files within.

Second DVD: the installer will ask you to mount the B. Ditto open with Daemon Tools free.
Ditto for the others. Done

 

i mount the dvd in daemon tools but get the same error :/

Go to system.library/preferrences change os plist from EL 10.10.3 to 10.9 log off and back in should be able to install software
remember to change back to version when completed, also EL Captain is updated to 10.10.6 why you still at 10.10.3 ? Also make sure to mount all Disc bfore running the installer

I never do installation. I just copy the .component then do the keygen thingy.

Yes that's all.

 

You don't copy anything, it asks for you to locate it when you open Logic. You should have the STEAM folder on another disk for better performance anyhow. Also remember to copy your updated component (and cracked) file when or if you do any updates. It runs only with the correct version of corresponding updated Steam folder.

i'm having the same problem, omnisphere working fine. i have 10.11.4, trilian software not found when trying the first disk, did you find a fix?
