I have a doubt about the Rtas compatibility of the good old Air release for Trilian (2009/11) that I would like to test (mostly for the Acoustic Bass) , because in fact I just don't see any DPM files (in the C***k folder) , only the vst and component. That seems weird ?

though the nfo is mentioning RTAS, anyone could confirm it's working ok with Protools ?

It seems to me (but maybe I'm wrong ? ) that if you use the 'Spectrasonics Trilian v1.4.1d Update only-MAC' (by 'Team AiR'), you should to get the 'RTAS' Version ('.dpm') as well...

If not already installed, try to find it, then you guess... *yes*

For this, sorry ... but I can't to accurately answer you because I don't use 'ProTools' under MAC OSX, only within 'Windows 8.1'...

After checking the exact Content of that 'Spectrasonics Trilian v1.4.1d Update only-MAC' (by 'Team AiR'), I can confirm you that there's a 'RTAS' Version inside it. *yes*

You can find a 'Archive.pax' Folder. Within this one, you'll find the 'VST' & 'AU' Versions inside a Folder, as well as the 'RTAS' Version within another Folder ('Application Support'), and as follows :

Application Support > Digidesign > Plug-Ins > TrilianWrapper.dpm > Contents > ...

So, I can only guess that this 'Wrapped' Version is provided to be used within any Host requiring the 'RTAS' Version of a Plugin (as is the case of 'Pro Tools'). *yes*

Will try to manage from that, though I did not find that particular last update 1.4.1 but got the 1.3.3c and 1.4.0e.

About the RTAS file, it seems to me that it is "handled" by the keygen since 1.3.3.

Will report back, have a deep breath....let's go

 

Waouww all seems running fine, the GUI was a little messed up during the authorizing process (maybe because of wine running the keygen on mac).

But it is working and the Acoustic bass is just amazing, the best I ever tried, I've just tested it for 5 mns.

So to sum up the process :

I just installed the 5 DVDS images from the initial release from Air (did not uses their updates nor c***s),

then installed the 3 updates from "v 1.4.3d software + Library updates" internal release from Copylefter.

Opened Trilian in a test session with PT,

Used the Air keygen provided.

Closed and reopen Trilian.

That's it.
