I can't believe this has been 10 years! I was hoping for an authentically modelled classic synth collection including Prophet 5, Jupiter 8 & Roland D50 or something.
I am pretty underwhelmed TBH. I mean, it's beautifully done, but as others have said.. isn't this late to the party?

Lets hope it just the start of the 'keyscape' line and they expand it to include many classic synths (which would fit with Omnisphere much better). But, for the moment, I too am very disappointed.

 

Well right now you can read a lot (and I mean a lot) of negative comments on their FB page because it must be around 4:35 AM in California therefore they are sleeping at the moment and can't play the Censor game.

 

Since this is just a omnisphere expansion pack, i think they would have done better to sell the various types of keys as separate smaller expansions. They could have done a rhodes pack, upright pianos pack, etc and priced them at $50 each. I bet they would have had a better reception and would sell many more that way.

persing is an ego maniac but truthfully he makes cool stuff. I don't think keyscape is relevant at all it's just proof of spectrasonics being past it'sprime. I appreciated getting the zzzzz info right before bedtime really helped. Plug in Guru all though a decent sound designer is a tool but all this works for the crowd that believes Richard Devine actually can do anything.
