Hello,
First of all, this question is regarding Spectrasonics Authorizations files. I can Authorize with the keygen and link all libraries without any problem.
The question is:
All the Authorization files are stored in C:\Programdata\Spectrasonics (including the links to the libraries).
If I move the dir outside (in the same drive), the vsts are unauthorized, but when I move them inside, everything works great.

Now, when I try to copy the dir C:\Programdata\Spectrasonics, nothing works... becomes unauthorized.
It's the most annoying thing in the world.

Anyone knows anything about this?

I'm curious about this too because I prefer to have all program data on a different hard drive other than C:.

Once again, I'm not looking for registration problems or change in library path or anything like that.
Just a way to backup the Spectrasonics dir in Programdata.

 

there maybe some registry entries that specify programdata as being the default location, have you opened up regedit and had a looksee?

Yes, I searched it and nothing was found.
The annoying thing is that if you move the dir outside and start the vst it becomes unauthorized. when you move back the dir it automatically authorizes.
The problem is that the same doesn't happen when you copy..

 

There's any purpose besides register it automatically without the use of keygen.
More of a knowledge thing than anything else.

 

It's likely pointing to a specific location in the registry. You have to find where it stores this and change it.

Anyone knows where the star rating of presets is saved under windows / os x?
Is it just enough to backup the Steam Folder ?

the User Tags folder is just a few kb the Steam Folder is 45 gb
