hi I recently installed the cracked soundtoys V 4.0.2. I have tried various times with different files but soundtoys just never seems to work. The whole installation seems fine. all the plugins are there in their respective places but when scan Ableton it doesn't show up. tried restarting as well.

Been trying to get soundtoys for year. Any help would be appreciated.

 

Hello, this version is 32 bit, maybe you try to open in 64 bit D.A.W ?

 

I would use FL Studio, its better than Ableton. Ableton is a good starter DAW but as soon as you work with 3rd party plugins its horse shit because you cant load them.

To the OP.. working fine here, 64 bit Live, 64 bit soundtoys and Win 10 X64... no issues.

U might try listing ur specs when u have a problem that needs solved to better help folks lend their experience.

Well I just got another version from audioz. It's 4.1.1. I run a Mac 10.14. running Ableton Live (64 bit) since years and is my daw of choice so can't really shift that.

Yeah I tried that Jbridge thing but somehow that didn't work either. it says it can't bridge due to some error. :/

Try '32 lives' from Sound Radix instead of Jbridge. You can find it on the sister site.

 

Make sure it is not 32 64 bit conflict. If everything ok, Make a soundtoy folder inside your vst folder & put all your soundtoy .vst files inside that folder. Thanks me later

 

ok something weird is happening. I got 32 lives. and scanned my plugs. It showed that sonny plugs and the Soundtoys plugins were 32 bit. I resurrected all of them. But only the sonnox plugins are showing. that too only in AU not in vst.

The sound toys still don't show even after the bridging. I have made a folder inside my vst folder called soundtoys as well placing all the vsts inside.

What am I doing wrong? :/

forget about the vsts and use the AU. this is what you do.... get 32 lives. you can torrent a version. 32 lives only bridges Audio Units so forget about the VSTS. Bridge your Soundtoys audio units and they are good to go.

dont use jbridge it sucks, i bought it and i appreciate the effort put into it but it's not good.

 

The same was happened to me, so what I did was cutting the file of SoundToys created in C:\Program Files\VSTPlugIns and pasted it in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\VSTPlugins, and it's now working, you can thank me later

 

yea mine disappeared too! I disinstalled it and then installed:
SoundToys The Ultimate Effects Solution 5.0.1 Portable - 22.12.2019 | PORTABLE | 330 MB
now it works.

 

there's only one working (for mac) where you have to swap the system autool/authtool to do it. could be wrong
