Soundtoys 5 setup no longer works

    Ik there is a portable version available, but the AudioUtopia setup no longer works on Windows 11 64bit.

    Tried all combinations of compatibility options, tried unpacking (no success). It did work on Win10, else I would already have had the portable version downloaded.

    Possibly your antivirus messing with the temp files created by the installer.

    The fact that Win 11 wasn't mentioned means it COULD work, as suggested by @kargozarmj. But whilst it may work on some, by no means it will work for everyone. That's fairly normal for operating systems that aren't supported..

    Some UTOPiA releases don't work if the installer gets renamed. Are you sure is called "Setup.exe"? I can confirm it works in W11. (I own the legit version, but I always prefer to use the "thinner" versions when available.)

    Not an antivirus issue either, else I would have seen a warning from it.
    It was infact, the setup file not being named "Setup.exe", thanks to @lxfsn

    time to buy, audioutopia release is so old (still working though)
    they are well worth the price when they have sales, wish they had bigger guis
