That's cool! waht it do is capture the frequency at which the single instruments is playing and let you adjust the dynamics individually, instead of having multy-track drum beat i think.

 

Something like a multiband double mono, instead of linked stereo. With a lot of bands probably ;)
There are more and more spectrum based plugins because computers can handle them now.

sounds bad actually , phase issues and its only snare and hi hat , with all drum kit will be a mess IMO, of course for electronic music as an effect go crazy with threshold

this would be real useful to me because i have a lot of Rappers always bring me there 2 Track Beats on MP3 that the kick or snare is too loud or the Hi Hat
