    ok guys.
    Thanks for all your feedback.
Got some ppl, saying theres no difference.
Got some ppl, saying there is a difference.
Maybe its the gear, maybe the ear.

But i´m glad, that im not the only one who hears the difference.

I try to get another sound card from a friend for testing.

If you want, you can close the thread

    Thank you very much :)

That sounds so... counter-sense-ish. How are they well equalized if they still sounds "clogged" or agglomerated? When you're mixing something right (EQing/Panning/etc) you're supposed to don't stop until the mix elements sounds as they should. Are we talking about fast results/workflow or really about sound quality? Because as far as i remember, the quality of a mix/song is purely the user's result/work and "warm" is defined by the sonic ballance of a song(natural highs + enough-lowmids/etc.), non-linearity, some saturation, etc. but these are something you're fully responsable of through your mixing. The DAW isn't an outboard unit which packs subtle-saturation by default.

That dude SeamlessR if you know him which is a FL guru, i'm sure he didn't use just FL in his whole life and i'm sure he can admit if there's anything wrong with FL's engine but it's not the case here. Or either you can send him an email and see what he has to say.

Cold or Warm sounding? Don't expect a DAW to make something sound warm by default, because there's movie soundtracks producers who require the ability and flexibility to make something sound cold on purpuse and a "warm daw" (lol) would stand against that (and the Devs of these today DAWs already knows it).

Just tried Cubase 8 LE for Mac.
    call me a fool. ok.
But the first Sounds out of the box from Sylenth1 ...) BAM
So much space, and really loud and clear. And no annoying trebles.
I got goosembumbs, while i´m playing and filtering cutoff.

I stay on Mac with Logic or Cubase.

Maybe that Fl is ok for small projects or that minimal ELectro projects with sampled stuff.
But when it comes to layering or real phat synths, then FL is to the limit (for me)

    Dont´get me wrong. i love FL since V3 .
Maybe its the audio driver in windows.

i try it when FL is released for Mac and i can load my VST

    Cu :)

AND PS: try Cubase, good quality ;)

lol you guys are funny. Someone even posted a link coming directly from Image Line (the creators of FL studio) stating there is no difference between FL and other daws, and you're still here arguing it.

Did you touch default metering setting in logic? I used fl (actually i still have it), ableton live (still have, still love and use alot), sonar, reason, cubase, Studio one, reaper, Sony Acid, Protools/HD, Logic Pro (7, 8, 9 10, 10.1) And when i say "use" i mean that i finished 5+ projects with it. And there's no difference in sound quality. And audio interface doesn't affect headroom in the mix in any possible way. ANY. POSSIBLE. WAY. Train your ears. If with the same settings fl sounds worse than logic, probably fl gives you more realistic picture of your mix (In case of this thread ofc).
