If you intend on using it, yes... Using cracked stuff is still illegal. They have a 14 day fully functional demo... Seems fair to me.
If you think it's overpriced, good for you... But why are you whining about "uploading for reverse engineering"...
I think you want this plugin really badly tbh..

I could start a shitstorm if I started a thread stating that people only hate Soothe, Gullfoss, Acustica and Universal Audio because they can't afford it.

 

I often get around the fact that I don't own Soothe or Spliff by making sure I recorded everything correctly, mixed everything correctly, and, in those rare instances where I actually need a notch filter, I just bring up virtually any EQ plug, look at the real-time waveform in the GUI, see the frequencies that are causing trouble and notch them out accordingly, like anyone else who has ever owned an EQ plug or a graphic equalizer. True, that's a whopping two minutes of my life wasted that Soothe could have probably saved me, but these are hard times.

Having demo'd the plugin , i can honestly say its a solution to a problem most you dont even have.
If you find yourself in the position where you are dealing with problematic recordings that need to be addressed by this plugin then you should simply buy the thing, if you're mixing/engineering services wont allow for a $150 budget for something you deem to be indispensible then i have some bad news for you about your "business".

But all the fuss surrounding this plugin isnt really about any of that, its just warez addicts being deprived of another dopamine hit. If this thing got cracked today these same people would be bleating about something else before they'd even downloaded the installer. Very sad!!...many such cases.
