I've been googling to find the project files for learning mixing and mastering out of the basic ones those every provider offers, but it's really hard to find.
Are there any particular websites offering it?

You can also join some facebook groups and search throughout forums, some metal oriented forums do offer stems subforums filled with songs and all type of songs, which come to think about is not a bad idea to have here...

 

Are they unprocessed? (No EQ, compression, etc.)

 

Most of the time no, sometimes both files are included, like guitars for exemple amped vs di you can find both...

it's worth the time.

 

Hi, what genre?
A video I watched yesterday said there are project files on Splice I just had a look there are a few there but depends on your genre.

Puremix - Luca Pretolesi mixing Major Lazer came with some files to mix along with it.

there are lots of stems and remix contests on remixpacks.ru

some good, some bad. it would be good for practice. files are mostly on yandex.

 

What I'm looking for are demos that have all plugins such as eq, comp, reverb. I want to see how they do. Mostly, DAW providers offer demo files and they have what I decribed.

I don't know much about this stuff, but that site is amazing.

 

While the site is indeed a good one with an amazing collection, i stay away from it for only one reason, sometimes stems and files are too well produced, perfect recordings perfect editing, which does not translate well in our world, as not every client you might end up working with has access so to such a good gear or hardware or can do great editing, but someone in their bed room recoriding guitars and probably vocals, my point is while it might be a good way to get you started, as soon as you take real jobs you will encouter problems, like phasy recordings and bad takes...

on the other hand, if you scoute the internet for tracks made recently and by amateur or bed room producers and work on those, you will have it rough but it will be worth it in the long run, as you will learn and adapt with working with lower quality records and will probably help you more.

that being said i'll take the chance to share two mixes i have done from random stems , and i'll share the facebook group as soon as a mod clears me to or tells me it is not against the rules...
