    Hello everyone.

So what i want to know is, what is the best way to getting a demo song done and moulded for an artist on a major record label ?

apart from email...what other methods should i consider?

    (for song placement )

    Thanks

Try targeting the artists management if you have a specific artist in mind who you are trying to pitch too.

J.Cole got his deal after handing his CD to one of Jay-Z's security town outside their offices.

Nowadays ya gotta be creative...email is probably the worst way of trying to get in touch with the right people.

Sadly neglected but still one of the best ways is to write a letter and enclose your cd with it. Try and make the whole package professional looking and you'll be surprised how many people respond to this type of approach.

    Good luck dude.

According to this song-writing Q & A with Guy Chambers management ring-fence their artists in order to control publishing revenue, hence they actively discourage outside writers.
