You know what you could buy with $200?

Way cooler stuff than a keyboard.

I mean... what kind of new exciting technology justifies that price? LED Lights?

That said, it is neat. I'll wait till someone makes a knockoff for $30

This in fact is already a knockoff, from the optimus maximus by art lebedev.

I was quite impressed looking at the webpage until i got to this bit "with Sonder all your settings are saved automatically to the cloud".

Wtf is it with companies wanting to send everything i do up to their computers. Will the keyboard stop working if i'm offline ?

    Fuckwits!

But.. the CLOUD.. is soooo safe and reliable ..

Anyway, I'll save the 200 cheese..and just remember my own shortcuts.. as I always have.

I could see it being too much of a crutch.

Like, could you imagine someone going to another studio and being like "wtf, your keyboard doesn't have clipart? No no no I can't work like this."

nah not really. I just remembered the keyboard from like 10 years ago because I really liked it a lot and then I quickly looked it up :dancing:

It is very nice for different languages. But for shortcuts, not so much.
Purpose of a shortcut is to gain time. If i need to LOOK at my keyboard, i loose time. Purpose lost

On the other side, using an additionnal "extension" keyboard (gaming like) and/or a gaming mouse is a lot less expansive, and you can take it with you anywhere.

Those fancy keyboards are here for years. And almost nobody get caught, even ppl with enough money to buy them :dunno:
