Can anyone confirm for me if SoundID Reference 5.6.1 for Mac by Trazor (posted by JammuAnd) works with M1, or does Logic Pro need to be put into Rosetta mode for it to work in the DAW?

there are posts from m1 users that it works. A number of users reported problems with it though, too.

What is there to really confirm? It's less than 600 meg to download it and find out. That version is also 2 years old.

I'm aware of that. There is no release of it after the one you are asking about. A number of that releasers plugins and apps have since time bombed. Be that what it may. That's why I mentioned that, it either works for you or it doesn't. There is no later release you could try instead. Some Silicon users mentioned it works, and then others say it doesn't.

There is one for 5.2 also, and that had problems also. When you run the installer of 5.2, (and maybe this one) it's going to try immediately downloading updates to it, and those updates install and it definitely won't work then. You will see the outbound solicitation on your firewall.

 

You can install the latest, and use the R2R keygen.
