hmm interesting!
I wonder how much is this affected by mic positioning during measurements, regardless of how mic is held - since Reference uses area "circles", it's probably impossible to replicate measurement multiple times and get same results - I'd be curious to see measurements done multiple times to see how much they differ?

 

They will differ for sure. That's why you need to do it twice or more times and select the one that looks most flat.
The diffrence will be minimum and while you are not constantly sitting still in your chair, it's not that big of a problem.

 

I guess I can settle down with this result for now, will probably try different interface/DAC so will redo measurements later

Now comes the REAL question...
Can we send our individual Ear (actually the brain processes it) Frequency Responce via an cable connected to our head (like the movie The Matrix), to the lab, and give us the results of that?
