    Greets all,

Recently installed X3, and may go back to my previous version.

I have tried different ways of getting this program to recognize my

non-cakewalk plugs : adding folders, rescanning , restarting the app etc...

    but to no avail... :dunno:

anyone having this issue? anyone figured how to get the plugs registering in X3?

it's like they are not even there.. and the program opens always.. with ONLY the native

    package plugs... halp !!

    update

disregard paritally, I did find i needed to add a folder I missed, but X3 would not

load the modules for vsts like MrRay22 or Drumatic.... hmmmm

X3 is working like a champ for me. 64 bit with the x3c update here.

Sonar has a plugin limit I think I read.. also, some plugs may have to be added via the plugin menu manager..

The whole plugin menu system is a messs and is is why I, as much as I like sonar, cannot use it.

Im not a huge fan of sonar , but .....
Try going to preferences/options ; delete your paths to your VSTplugins.
Then exit the program , do a restart and re-migrate your plugin path again,
only , 'after doing this' ; do 'rescan for plugins'.

Sometimes Samplitude , Soundforge , even Vegas will do this same thing.
So .... maybe just a shot in the dark here ; but give it a try , ok!!

    Good luck buddy !

    no plug in limit.
its as messy as you set up your directories in c/program files/cakewalk/vst plugins
if your plug ins are everywhere in there than yes, they are going to be everywhere in sonar.

as for 32bit vdt plug ins, it all depends which ones, some play nice, others(not many have given me an issue
I use mostly 64 bit plug ins anyway though
