I've been running some tests with limiters and maximizers and I came across the Adaptive limiter from Logic Pro, and I really liked the result I got with it for perceived loudness without increasing too much the peak values.
The problem is I work mostly on windows and with cubase more specificaly, so I was wondering if there is something similar Adaptive limiter but for windows...
    All help is appreciated .

Hey Oneeyedstan, thanks for the reply ^^
I guess you're referring to the softcliper / maximizer combo, that's kind of what I usually do, with other plugins though.
I like de adaptive limiter more because it's an AIO solution for my specific case, as I tend to get better results with it and a smaller mastering chain :)

That's a great addition to cubase 12 ^^ still haven't upgraded my license, but will do in the next weeks.
Although that one seems to work pretty well it still relies on gain reduction to increase the perceived loudness wich is not bad at all, in fact that's usually how they work ^^
With the logic's adaptive limiter I'm getting the output equal to the input, without ticking the gain reduction, but with the plugin engaged the sound gets louder, similar to saturation in a way, and that's what I'm looking for ^^
Once again thanks for the help ;)

Usually I use Pro L2 as my final limiter, but until that point of the chain I like to do incremental limiting not to hit the final one very hard, and adaptive limiter before L2 works like a charm ^^
