I saw some people sell renoise here.
I would buy one if the price is okay.

 

I've had a license for years and for Redux and would highly recommend it.

if you like the old style Amiga trackers then you will love this. It’s an excellent DAW but very different to the standard top DAWs but is very flexible with lots of options.

I know. As my hobby i make pixel art games so many years now. And its time for good gamesounds.
To be true, i don´t really understand how the old style tracker works.
Renoise seems to be a very good way...but its christmas and as single dad. Hey where is santa ;)
With tax here in cost 80 euro and i know its worth the money...but its still a lot of money.
Btw. i i buy a "used" license, i need a account on the renoise website. But this account i only get if i buy a product an there site. Confused.

 

You should spend some time with a "demo" before spending the money on it. Some people love it, but if you have never used a tracker before there is probably a 50/50 chance you will be the one selling your license next.

You could also have a look at Furnace Tracker which is fantastic tracker and FREE as a way of introducing yourself to trackers and the workflow.

This thing is a beauty emulating so many of the classic 8-bit/16-bit systems, if you love all things Chiptune you will love this.

It looks like deflemask wich i have.
I feel very good with the look and feel on renoise.
Its like Amiga/C64 and some other things. Not that much power like nowadays but the look and feel...
And yes i love chiptunes and i have some things by plogue.
Btw. supporting VST/VST3 is a must have.
But at the moment the money is rare otherwise i have buy it some time ago.

 

If money is the problem, you could use the 'free' version from sister site till you get the money. I see Renoise v3.2.1 is available on sister site.

 

I know. There are so many sister sites ;)
First, i´m to old for some shit ;) and good work should get support.
Second, i need VST3 support and a VST3 supporting host wich is available as VST2 plugin like Kushview Element should work but just as a workaround. I´m to old for workarounds..it should just work. Done.
So i have two options. Wait for more money or wait if somebody sell it. (In this case i don´t have a renoise account)
But that shouldn´t be a discussion. ;)
