I was using this plugin without any issue on S1 version 3.0 but since I upgraded to the latest version (3.2.3), I'm now unable to use it.

The DAW keeps crashing and the plugin is ignored at the next startup.
I'm on Win 10 x64 if that matters.

    Thanks in advance!

I've had very similar experience with heartbeat, it would always crash S1 and 2 for me. I don't use it anymore which is a shame.

I don't want to go that route. At least not yet.
    Which OS do you use?

I'm on W7 with an i7 and plenty of ram, sorry I can't be more help, I've not tried the legit version so couldn't say 100% it's the software.

I'm also not legit but it's not the problem since it used to work prior S1 upgrade.

In my experience some of those ilok cracks have issues in S1. I just stopped using them altogether, though not entirely for that reason. But the SSL Duende plugs used to crash S1 all the time for me, where Live was handling everything like a prince (it always does).

    Thanks for your feedback.
Anyway, I don't see myself learning a new DAW since I'm very happy with S1 (well, beside this Hearbeat issue I mean)...

Funny, I've never had an issue with Heartbeat. I have it installed on two different computers, one an HP and the other a Dell, both running Windows 7 Ultimate 64, and it has always worked fine with S1 for years with no issues. HB.jpg

Is it a legitimate copy with the iLock license?
    BTW which version of S1?

I'm starting to think that something is messed up at the registry level but I have no idea how to check that.

Yeah I wasn't advocating it so much as just pointing out that the problem was, in my case, Studio One itself.
I agree with you that S1 is great. Live was the first DAW I really learned inside and out so I stick to that for producing, but S1 is the best I've used for recording and mixing vocals. Love the workflow and the mixer (especially with the option to collapse tracks within closed folders. Organization is a breeze)

@mrpsanter No, it's not legit. And it's worked on every version of S1 since 2.6.
I use the cracked iLok and eLicenser emulators.
At the moment it's working great with the new version 3.2.3 of S1.

Do you mean that you use the AudioUtopia release from last November?

OK, problem solved by running S1 with Admin privillege AND with Windows 8 Compatibility Mode.
