    Hello audio friends,
    getting problem with Vecto plug...

I installed Vecto and entered my Mac ID but, when I try to authorise it in Logic, the plug window shows a wrong Mac ID (not mine).
Consequently it won't authorise it because, automatically, it overwrites a wrong machine ID.
I don't know who or what modifies/overwrites the ID numbers. :snuffy:

Has anyone had this same problem installing Vecto and solved it?

Many thanks and happy music. :mates:

just did the entire thing and it worked fine. Do not do anything with the Native Instruments .plist file. Move only rpcx.vecto.plist to
    ‎⁨Macintosh SSD⁩ ▸ ⁨Library⁩ ▸ Preferences.

Then open Terminal and do: sudo chmod +x and drop the patch.command file on terminal, enter password and hit return. drag the patch.command to terminal and run it by hitting return. If it is successfully patched it will say Done and Enjoy! in green text.

You could have missed when you first tried that part, it actually said permission denied in white text. I think this is the part you might have missed.

Open DAW, Load plugin. Then run the kg. it should match. Ignore the first few characters in the Serial number displayed by kg. Copy Computer ID from Vecto auth screen and paste into kg. Hit generate, type activation code into Vecto.

That Native Instruments file has a serial in it, and maybe you need to do something with it. But do anything like that after getting it authorized normally first. Run the kg in Crossover.

Many of the things from that releaser eventually timebombed. I don't remember which besides u-he. Just fyi.

Many thanks clone... has worked.

The main problems blocking authorisation were two: the first (as you had guessed) was to enter the 'patch.command' file in the Terminal twice, and the second one (very important) was to enter the Vecto window's ID it gives us and NOT the real ID of our Mac (as I used to do). :winker:
