Until now I used version 5.5.2 which was flawless then out of the blue, some of my libs (Mural for ex) started to display the dreaded 'Activate' button.

I installed the 5.6.1 R2R version on a brand new PC but was faced with the same issue. After that I also gave a try to the 5.6.1 Non Install version but it didn't help.

So... What can I do now to solve this?

Any suggestion is highly appreciated.

 

The R2R version has this issue with some libraries....here's how to resolve it....

On the sister site is another version of Kontakt 5.6.1 It's the fixed version... Download that one.

Then;

1. Install the R2R version of 5.6.1 as normal (don't run the keygen...yet)

2. Copy and replace the files from the fixed version into the location you installed the R2R version (Kontakt.exe, common files stuff, vst dll's, AAX etc).

3. Run the R2R keygen and register Kontakt.

That's it... All libraries will now work.

 

Remove every trace linked to the troublesome libraries from your pc and then add them again and see what happens.

...Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center (delete .xml file)

In the registry system delete every key linked to the troublesome libraries:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Native Instruments
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Native Instruments
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3544210310-257015573-1803582339-1000\Software\Native Instruments

 

Thanks for both feedback but unfortunately it's still not working as it should.

What I did:
- Installed 5.6.1 R2R on a brand new PC (I have an image of a new Win10 installation which makes it fast to start from scratch)
- Didn't apply the keygen
- Copy/pasted files from the 5.6.1 No Install to C.
- Applied the keygen which registered Kontakt.
- Added a library but it didn't work, as can be seen in the below screenshot.

 

you cant activate Mural, use the fixed release not the r2r.

 

Mural was just an example, this is happening with many more.
BTW Mural was successfully activated in the previous version before NI started changing I don't know what.

Can you be more explicit regarding this "fixed release" : isn't it the one I already mentioned in my last post?

 

you cant activate any custom lib, mural wasnt activated it was previous version that didnt check activation, this crack from r2r is different you need the version i told you about and its not r2r, its 5.6.1 FIXED

Or do you mean that I should have this FIXED version installed first without even installing R2R's one before?

It sounds like u have the correct versions... R2R's and FIXED....both 5.6.1...?

All I can think is that uv failed to copy something over from the fixed version.

Do any libraries add ok?

Unfortunately I also tried that.

 

What worked for me was to install the kontakt 5.6.1 R2R-did not use the keygen anything. Then, I extracted the 5.6.1 no install and overwrote the exe and the plugins-no keygen nothing. Everything library works, every library I add works, no keygen nothing!! It's just like before, unlocked! What a pleasure-try it!

 

Mine worked before running the keygen...the only difference the keygen made was to change the graphic label at the top from Kontakt Player to Kontakt.

The license always stated full, and libraries could be added before or after the keygen regardless.

It sounds like u have something left over from a previous installed release (or something else conflicting somewhere).

Try uninstalling, then find all Kontakt folders and delete them (back up quickload, output configs, presets etc before deleting if u have them) and then clear all Kontakt stuff from the registry and try again...

 

So far nothing is working.

Now I tried to copy directly the files to the relevant destination without installing the R2R release. After doing this, I used the R2R keygen.

As a result, I'm unable to add any lib (message "No Library Found").

What else could be missing?

BTW I'm using Win10 x64 and Studio One 3.3 if that matters.
