As old as it is, Steinberg Hypersonic 2 is my favorite Plugin. It has everything I need, and it is incomparable for lightening quickness.

EDIT:
1. I Installed Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable: from 2010 - TO - latest supported downloads. (I do not believe they solved my issue. However, some old software do not install without C++ Redistributable.)
2. I Installed latest version of ASIO4ALL: 2.16. (I believe this was the missing piece!) I think FL Studio has it's own propriety Asio. So, I don't know.... I use Ableton Live 12.
Hypersonic 2 Installation (Steinberg - Hypersonic 2.0 (Rebuild SynsoEmu)
(I followed my routine for installing cracks: disable internet and anti-virus real-time protection. Then, I combined some suggestion on here by ItsFine, Radio, Sylenth.Will.Fall, DJ PUKKA & others )
1. Run installer in win 7 compatibility mode
2.Install Setup.exe in Administrator mode.
(Right click on the shortcut (or the program executable file) of the program that you want to fix.
Click Properties, select the Compatibility tab.
Click Run this program in compatibility mode and select one of the operating systems from the drop down menu.

3. Uncheck the box next to DXI.
4. Click Browse and select location of dll files. (eg, x86/Vstplugins). If you don't select a vst foler, the dll would be installed in Steinberg Folder.
5. Copy "Hypersonic 2 Content" dir to a folder of your choice
6. Go to Hypersonic 2 Folder in Steibberg. Run Application as Administrator. Follow prompt to locate content path manually! Select Hypersonic 2 Content.

A this stage you should be able to run the Standalone version

Bridging with Jbridge
Most people are not following the recommendation of Jbridge.
A. Do not make Jbridge scan regular vst folder
1. create a folder in Program File x86. Name it Bridge. Copy Hypersonic.dll into the new Folder. I said copy. Do not move. The copy of Hypersonic.dll in the new folder is the one that would be bridged. Leave the original installation in your vst folder alone!
2. Create another folder inside the location where you have x64 plugin dll. Name it Bridge 1. (eg, I have my DLLs in Program File\VST. So, I created Bridge 1 folder inside VST folder.
3. Install Setup.exe in Administrator mode. (JBridge Auxhost runs as Admin, so it would be smoother for host DAW to run with Admin properties. JBridge even roccommends it)
4. Select: will be using x64-bit host
5.Click: Create Bridging files in the Directory I will specify... (Follow the prompt and select Hypersonic.dll in Bridge folder in Program File x86.
6.Locate the Destination Directory for bridging files. (follow the prompt and select Bridge 1 folder inside Program File\VST. This is where JBridge will deposit bridged dll.

Rescan vst and you should see the bridged dll inside Bridge 1 folder inside VSTs.

Could you give it a try on Win11 and there report back if this method still works?

 

I've tried installing Hypersonic 2 on two different laptops with Windows 11, and both failed. One of the laptops used to have Windows 10, and the plugin worked flawlessly on it, before I did fresh instal of Windows 11.

I tried and it wouldn't work, but supposedly you don't have to bridge on the newer Fl Studios

Install & Run this program in compatibility mode for earlier windows versions
Runs the program using settings from an earlier version of Windows. Try this setting if you know the program is designed for (or worked with) a specific version of Windows.

 

I will try this method before downgrading to Windows 10

 

Sometimes, it doesn't install properly on Windows 10, as well. It happened to me, but I fixed it. I was confused as to why it installed easily on one machine, but failed on another. Eventually, I noticed that that some installation files did not install in C:\....user\AppData\Roaming. I copied the files from a different install, and it worked. Look for Steinberg\Hypersonic in C:\....user\AppData\Roaming. There should be 3 files in there. If they are missing, then, that's your problem.

Ah I bet thats why then, I don't remember any files being in roaming data folder. I got to go find the installer again

 

As a general guideline for old Win softwares :

First, run the installer in Administrator mode.
If it still don't run right, run installer in win 7 compatibility mode.

I did eveything correctly, I'm not sure why it won't run. It puts everything in the VST folder, but I think maybe it has to the vst x86 folder since its so old it doesn't recognize the newer windows

 

• Plugin compatibility - Just as FL Studio used to be available in both 32 and 64 Bit versions, VST plugins can also come in 32 or 64 Bit format. The bit-depth of plugins determines how much memory the plugin can access. It has nothing to do with 'audio quality'. A version mismatch between FL Studio and a plugin can be solved with a process called bridging. FL Studio for macOS only supports 64 Bit plugins however, no bridging. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND using 64 Bit plugins in any recent versions of FL Studio, which have been 64 bit only since version 20.9. On Windows, if you load 64 Bit plugins in FL Studio 32 Bit or 32 Bit plugins in FL Studio 64 Bit, a 'bit bridge' will automatically be used. Bridging consumes about 2% extra CPU, per plugin. Certainly, a few bridged plugins won't normally matter, but bridging 10 or more plugins definitely will waste CPU capacity. Bridging is automatic, you don't need to do anything special to make it happen, one reason to pay attention to what plugins you are using. The Wrapper Settings Tab will show if a plugin is bridged and its Bit version. NOTE: You can install both 32 and 64 Bit versions of a plugin, if available. Many older, free VST plugins you can find online, are only available in 32 Bit.

Yep.. I have the installation/ Software, and I've created clear and detailed instructions on how to install it.. Win7/ Win10 etc..

Never tried Win 11..

Here are the full instructions in the mean time:-

2) Place the entire 'Hypersonic 2' folder here:-

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg

3) Install 'Hypersonic 2 Amended' Into the Registry

3.5) Run Setup.exe
Main= C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\Hypersonic 2
VST = as above
uncheck DXi

4) Install 'Asio4All 2.15 English'

4.5) Create a 'Bridged' folder inside the main VST Folder

5) Install and Run 'JBridge'

6) Select C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\Hypersonic 2
(as the file to bridge from x64 bit Architecture)

7) Select the newly created 'Bridge' Folder
(For new 'Hypersonic 2' bridged file)

8) Standalone version here:-
'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\Hypersonic 2'

9) When 1st run, it will ask for the 'content' folder
'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steinberg\Hypersonic 2'

10) Once open, goto Settings and select 's' along all 16 tracks.

11) Select 'Memory Usage = XXl' and SAVE


IF when loading for the first time inside DAW it plays up,
