    EDIT:

    I'm sorry ... Thanks to Rico88 i've realized that i've been a little bit rash/hasty.

According to Rico88 (and the jdownloader community forum) it seems that there's
some problem actually between rapidshare and jdownloader that it seems it will be
fixed as soon as they find it.

So, false alarm ... I apologize.

Thanks SAiNT for adding the [Solved] !

    Hi Community,

For two times (two downloads) JDownloader has told me that some rapidshare links are not abailable, but ... THAT's NOT TRUE.
Because if you copy the links and go to any web browser THEY ARE STILL THERE!.
I have also some problems with uploader.to and JDownloader.

So, don't trust it when it says "file not found" and go to the web!

    Kind Regards! :mates:

Thanks for the info, i'll update then ...
(i did not made the last updates fearing that it could be hacked somehow) *yes*

    EDIT:

Sorry mates to say that, but i've applied all the updates right now ... and the "problem" is still there.
Downloading some files from Rapidshare web page right now while JDownloader still says that "file is not found" - (Mac OS X here)

I beg you please to read my last post, the EDIT part.

Also if you read the subtopic you'll see that i was not saying that JDownloader was wrong but that some servers could be blocking JDownloader! In fact (i can't
remember now what server was, sorry), but jdownloader itself said some days ago in the file status info of some files i was ready to download something like "this
server is blocking jdownloader, write to them complaining about".

    Thanks anyway *yes*

I never noticed this but recently all new RS links are in HTTPS, maybe you should try removing the "S" and make it HTTP, that is what I do when using FDM.

If you go to the community board for jdownloader, you will find that there is currently a known issue with Rapidshare. You are not the only one having this particular problem. In fact, I'm getting it as well, which is why I went to their forum to investigate. They say they are working on it, and hope to have it fixed on the next update.

It's not a matter of "not trusting jdownloader", it's just that some of the hosters change something on their website, and then jdownloader doesn't work properly until its adjusted to the changes.

    Hope that helps.

Thanks so much Rico, you're right in that the subject of my post has been to much "sensationalistic" and also in that it has been
my mistake not to have gone to jdownloader site as you've done, before posting here. Looking forward now for the fix.

And of course you helped! ... Thanks!

I never care about JD bugs. There's always a problem or two with one or more hosts, just right click the file in jd and select 'Open in browser'.

I used to do that with letitbit and turbobit, and whatever else had issues

i had no problems with RS yesterday - dunno what talked about ...
i know RS was fighting a lot with CryptLoad and JD in the past ...
so why should this be something new?!

i use JD since may 2009 and before cryptload for 2 years ...
so when u are a bit trained u know that u have to recheck links in a browser ... :bleh:
    sry guys

I think depositfiles generally blocks JDownloader.

Meaning, that the file appears to be offline in JDownloader, but is online, if you go on the site.

To me, at least up to now, when JDownloader said some depositefiles are not there it was right, because everytime i went to the site
to check if this was true, despite the big meters appear as if the file were available ... when i clicked the download button a new page
appeared telling that the file was deleted either for copyright infringement or by the uploader him/herself. *yes*

That's my experience - Kind Regards! :mates:
