Guys, I'm after a legacy VST synth.
It was considered an extremely powerful rompler at the time - considered more powerful than Atmosphere.

It has a gray-beige interface with orthographic knobs and an orange main screen and smaller sub-screens.
If my memory serves me correctly, it was powered by the UVI engine, but I may be mistaken. It was discontinued circa 2009? The interface is fairly small, almost looks like a gameboy, but it had a ton of synthesys options and a library of about 3-5GB-ish content.

The library content is available on the sister site, but I can't remember the name of the plugin...

If anyone could help me narrow it down or hit me up with a PM and the good stuff, it would be massively appreciated!

Plugsound Pro (or, later called Plugsound Box) by Ultimate Sound Bank (USB)?

If so, then yes, those plugins were awesome! Thanks for reminding me about those!

**edit**: Yes! Plugsound Box vol 1-6 were the 6 individual plugins. Plugsound Pro was the big workstation with a multi-GB library.

UVI Engine? Motu Mach 5 is my guess. But small, "Game Boy–ish with a central screen" sounds like Alchemy, which did not use a UVI Engine. The older version of ubershall Elastik also fits, but again not UVI. It is a strong contender for "Rompler" if you forget "UVI Engine" as being certain.

It sounds like maybe you are a little fuzzy on not just the name.

At some point it got popular for expansions and libraries to include a styled UI/skin with them.
If it turns out to be this one, Maybe this could be a solution for use on a more modern setup:

I find Plugsound Pro Library bank on Russian Tracker, (R2R Released - works with UVI Falcon & Workstation)
Then there is the "Ultimate Sound Bank Plugsound Box VST v1.92" on sister site which seems to have all the various installers & updaters. (Talio fixed).
I didn't install them but loaded them up just to see the interfaces
