stupid acts can be a bless right? :bleh:

So I deleted my au plugins (12 do not work well) and I go to time machine and my backup drive do not work anymore :excl: (his life was short and good) :wow:
NOTE: this is ploblem only for OSX 10.9 and 10.10

Everyone knows that Permission reset, Au Validation Tool and Keka are basic but how about codesign?

    Plugins like
    Melda
    Elastik
    Elastique Pitch
and some I never had a problem because I do not make a clean install, simply do not work anymore :snuffy:

    So thee solution is:

    1 open terminal and paste
sudo codesign -f -s - (yes you should make a space after -)

    2 go to your plugin
right clik and "show package contents"
    go /Contents/MacOS/
and drag to terminal whatever is inside, could be a .bin,or just the name of plug.

3 Run Logic X and be happy, I am with all plugs runnig ok with lastest version (I am *yes*)

A code genius could make an automation and if you like all Melda plugs you will have a lot of work

I link with problems like this must be posts because they are so poluted with the same problems

    I am with 10.9.5 :mates:

    Your post has me perplexed...

I.m confused about what exactly your issue is?... I have had no problems with Logic Pro X or Mav 10.9.4 (of which I will never upgrade from this), so not sure why I should do any of this stuff.

Are you insinuating that all of your "problems" are cuz of Mac?.. or is it the plugins/manufacturers fault..??

As far as the Backup drive??.. that's Mac's fault?

Also, I don't use the plugins you listed (Melda, Elastic, etc.), and I would never just delete plugins without deleting all associated files located elsewhere too (i.e. Mac HD/App Support, Mac HD/Library, User/Library, etc.)

    :dunno:

I appreciate your willingness to help for sure

just not sure what you are helping in my situation :mates:

Some cracks have problems and lack of compatibilty, you can look at Melda posts in Audioz, I do not know if its manufacturer or crack problem :dunno:
Also Copyletter already post about this and Apple change the audio protocol with 10.9.
Since you do not use this, not a problem but I recommend Melda, some are very different.
The backup problem its just a bad drive... no problem with Apple, at least in this situation

i see... yeah, I have heard many good things about Melda... perhaps I will check eventually.
Wonder what brand your drive is... I have 2 Toshibas and recently heard they can "go bad" so... :dunno:
    Good luck mate *yes*

Problem is since 10.9.5 apple changed code sign. Thats why ovalf got issues…

To avoid such problem, better still @ 10.9.4

Same crap is happening in Yosemite,btw...

Sorry for ranimating this one :)
I have updated to Yosemity after a HD Crash but i run into a probem with Melda again. I did the codesigning thing again. I used the "MeldaProduction.MPowerSynth.v8.08.MacOSX.Incl.Patch.and.Keygen-R2R" release. And after using the patch the Log wrote. "Not Patched : /Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/MPowerSynth.component/Contents/MacOS/MPowerSynth.bin" i did a chmod 777 on the patch. But still the same :-( Any ideas how to get the patch doing his thing on Yosemity ?
Thank you in advance for your help.

If I remenber well the last version of Melda do not need sudo codesign
Why you use an old version?
    Install the bundle 9.01

Ovalf, I heard the latest Melda installation is messing up all other plugins. Someone claimed that on another site. Can you confirm 9.01 to be working on Mac OS without messing up everything? Also 9.02 is already k'ed for Windows.

Melda Bundle 9.0.1 here on 10.9.5 running great, bad news is they pull the Melda stuff down pretty quick and that was a while ago now.... I had a lot of back up's on my external drive but had to do some house cleaning and that was one of the many back up's that I deleted, maybe another member on here has it and can help you out.... It is running great though...

I have the 9.0.1 version and I can upload in my dropbox, but I can't install cuz I'm getting some error about permissions. And permissions it's ok here. Anyone knows something about this error message?

For me: BEST OF all alternative solution
Install Logic Pro 9.1.8 = all nightmares gone! :winker:
    No codesigning needed @ all.
