    Hi there,
I thought of experimenting a bit by adding soft brown noise to dark orchestral mockup to make it sound more real. What do you think about it?

In my opinion, it sits nice with the overall darker rendition/mix.

Yes, it does add that low end to give it a dark, gritty look. imho all low ends if not mixed properly can eat the whole song. I am fond of these raw sounds which give your track a more dramatic feel. Keep experimenting. Am currently experimenting with white noise which surprisingly increasing the soundstage of the tracks.

    Thank you for sharing.

hmmm... maybe a better idea is rather than use straight out noise to fill the track, try to use another real instrument subtley on the same channel such as some type of organ or subtle flute, which produces its own breath or noise at varied intervals.

only if that's what you want though... :)

Out of curiosity, could you also post a mix without the brown noise. Purely for sake of comparison. Also, what's the source of the ringing sound?
