Buddy, a quick question. I'll do proper testing myself, but I'd like to pick your brain about it. How does it compare to, say, Waves SSL G compressor, which is great BTW? I'll later put it side by side with UAD SSL G, too.

I guess an authentic SSL plugin for 40 bucks is a no brainer.

As old as it gets. Conceptually, it's an 80s compressor. However, each company that has ever developed a rendition to it has a sound of its own, like any plugin (The Glue, Waves SSL-G, etc.). A bus compressor like this is a good tool in anyone's arsenal. Now, the real-deal SSL for 40 bucks is a big deal to consider unless you are an iLok hater. :mates:

@mercurysoto for $40 it is a great deal for sure, also consider this for a few bucks more (Bus Compressor & Precision Comp/Limiter) :

and as as alternative idea you can always get a focusrite solo for around $70 for the holidays, why i'm saying this is because you get the red series Focusrite plugs, softube awesome bunble, xln audio stuff and for this month free AAS Session Bundle.(you can even sell the interface & keep the plugins ) :

Price makes it interesting but I'm already a Cytomic The Glue user so I'm not sure if I need to replace it. Hmz.

Im happy with the glue. Too bad AO fucked it up, havent tested V3 but some say he went ahead and fucked it even further with the low end not sounding right.
Otherwise AO Buster would probably kill the competition.

I own the RED suite because of a Focusrite I bought a few years ago. I agree, great plugins. They've been off my radar for a while. Thanks for the heads up. I'll give them another twist.
