Hey guys!
I hope someone can help me with this. I recently got a Spotify account and now I'm wondering if someone could recommend a software to record some music and save it on my computer? Also I want to convert it to my old mp3 player, I just love to listen to music when I'm doing sports. Yeah so I have no clue what to search for, what is the best way and I'm also afraid of using illegal software. Ah, and I know that you can save tracks with spotify premium, but I'm looking for a permanet way to save them!Thank you

 

Not sure about Spotify but I know there is a hacked Pandora client for the PC that will let you download the songs that you play and save them on your hard drive. And it doesn't require your browser to be open. it runs standalone. From what I understand it will work with other services like slacker radio and more, but I've only tested it with Pandora. It's great you log into your profile and download your stations while you listen to them.

started hiding stereo mix out/record ... used to use that to catch grooveshark..

audio device tho...guess it's all good as long as you remain aware about switching devices

I can recommend Tunebite Premium for your purpose. It also just records the music you are streaming and is therefor legal. For me the handling was the easiest and it works really good, no quality loss http://audials.com/en/how_to_record_internet_radios/spotify.html

 

Just install spotify in your computer, and then run as administrator the bat file

This doesnt record the stream, it saves the the direct stream and tags in an easily accessible folder instead of as a random string in your temp folder. No recording going on, just caching and saving.

I installed this once. It reminded me of a virus when I tried to remove it. There were extra drivers, registry entries, system folders, windows folders, all kinds of traces left after the uninstallation. Hidden startup entries. Never again
